This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our website, participate in our Buyback Program, or otherwise interact with us. By using the site or submitting Items, you agree to this Policy.

2.1 Information you give us

• Name, business name, email address, phone number, and shipping address
• PayPal email address for payment
• Social Security number or Employer Identification Number, for IRS Form 1099 reporting when required
• The barcodes you scan, the offers you accept, and your batch and payment history
• Anything you send us in support messages

2.2 Information collected automatically

• IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and timestamps
• Cookies required to keep you signed in and to hold your in-progress batch on your device

We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.

3. How we use it

• Pricing your items, issuing prepaid shipping labels, and matching arriving boxes to your account
• Paying you and issuing tax documents when legally required
• Sending transactional emails about your batches (label ready, box received, payment sent)
• Preventing fraud and abuse, including limits on how many copies of a title we accept
• Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms

4. How we protect it

Your account is protected by a password you control. Tax identification numbers are encrypted at rest and only decrypted by authorized staff for tax reporting; each access is logged. Data is stored with hosted infrastructure providers in the United States that maintain industry-standard security controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the program (shipping carrier and label provider, email delivery, database hosting, payment processor), to the extent necessary and under confidentiality obligations; to comply with law or lawful requests; to investigate fraud or theft; or with your consent. We never sell or rent your personal information.

6. Retention

We keep transaction records as long as needed for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes (generally seven years). You may ask us to delete your account; we will do so except where retention is legally required.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of marketing. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what we collect and the right to non-discrimination. To exercise any right, email us; we may verify your identity first.

8. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. When we make significant changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
